Weddings, Civil Ceremony and Special Celebration Parties
If it's an unspoilt, rural setting you've been searching for, look no further. We realise that your wedding day is very special and therefore we work around your needs to ensure the day is everything you've always hoped and dreamed of.
In addition, we are delighted to hold a Civil Ceremony Licence here at The Cabinet. We recognise that some people prefer a full on-site ceremony followed by their celebration. Look no further, The Cabinet can meet all your needs here in our beautiful location.
Capacity:
The Cabinet can host 50 guests in the main restaurant, up to 100 including the alfresco dining area, and up to 250 using adjoining marquees. The team at The Cabinet are highly skilled in the art of bespoke hospitality, setting standards that are unequivocal in the Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
Menus:
As all our functions are bespoke, we recommend a personal meeting to discuss over a complementary glass of wine with our experienced Head Chef and Front of House Manager to discuss your celebration requirements including menu and accompanying wines, champagnes, canapés, etc. We offer a selection of menus, starting from £55 per person excluding champagne & canapés. Kindly note that should you require alternative choices, our Head Chef will be more than willing to discuss these with you.
Bar Facilities:
The Cabinet is fully licensed and has a full bar to accommodate your guest's needs. We are very privelledged to offer our premise until 01.30hrs on a Saturday and 12.30 all other days. We can also offer an outside bar to serve al fresco dining or marquee events adding to the enjoyment of all your guests.
Exclusive Weddings:
To exclusively hire The Cabinet, we ask you to spend a guaranteed minimum amount. The minimum spend amount reserves The Cabinet for exclusive use for the day and evening. This amount can be discussed and is dependent on number of guests and length of exclusive hire.
Booking Procedure
Once you and our management team have discussed and agreed your date and all your requirements, we would ask for a 20% deposit to secure your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable. We will then sign a binding contract detailing the costs and commitments from the Cabinet. We are happy to recommend the services of persons we feel are true professionals in their craft, from hair designers, musicians and floral designers to executive travel operatives. We also work in partnership with some exclusive local guesthouses and hotels which are constantly being praised by our clientele.
